Tonight Professor Sung-Yeul Park, a new faculty member in the ECE department, presented on his work on renewable energy power conditioning systems. He also discussed several open opportunities at the Center for Clean Energy Engineering, formerly known as the Connecticut Global Fuel Cell Research Center.

14 September 2009

The IEEE at UConn will held its first general meeting on Monday 14 September 2009 at 6:30 in ITE 336. We discussed projects that are being carried over from last semester. The president announced plans to invite faculty and graduate students to give presentations on their research.

We've had our first officer's meeting of the semester, and have taken care of a lot of administrative details. We're holding our first general meeting on Monday 14 September 2009 with the Fall Barbecue coming about a week later.

At the general meeting we will review the project proposals from last semester, as well as taking suggestions from our membership.

As always, our meetings are open to everyone, so come and see what we're about and bring friends!

Spring 2009

The spring semester was full of planning, and we have some great projects coming up next fall. We will keep the site
updated as we make progress, but for now take a look at some pictures of this semester's IEEE barbecue.
