21 September, 2006

  • Pizza is served

  • We talked about how the IEEE picnic was a success one of the best in years but we need to get a banner. Funding for that.

  • Sikorsky and other Field Trips

  • Ben talked to Sikorsky and they are interested having a field trip to their place. Concerns are funding (possibly through United Technologies Corporation?). We need to look into bus costs for a round trip: charter bus (including UCONN's charter bus), and regular old yellow bus'.  Neil has ties to General Electric and Hamilton Sundstrand so we could possibly do another field trip there.

  • Early Elections

  • We talked about early elections in an officer's meeting so perhaps we could have a smoother transition than we had and we'll have twice as many officers who will be compelled to be productive.

  • T-shirts

  • We decided on a preliminary graphic for the T-Shirts. Perhaps we'll have enough money to give them away, or at a discounted price. The total comes to about $200

  • Attached are views of the front and back:
